Jessica Myers
Jessica is a graduate student at UT Austin’s LBJ School, where she is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs with a focus on workforce and economic development policy. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors and Economics minors from Texas State University. At Texas State, she coordinated award-winning campus-wide civic engagement opportunities, led the women’s political science club and running club, and published her Honors thesis on passionate work and community connection in the undergraduate research journal. With recent experience in government affairs during the 2023 Texas legislative session and research communications at a national women’s campaign organization, she brings strong advocacy and writing skills. She is driven to learn and grow in the economic development space and is thrilled to be starting that journey with TIP Strategies. Jessica is also an avid runner and can be found running the Austin trails almost daily.
